My art reflects my search for truth, beauty and freedom. Each piece is a meditation on life and death through color. I graduated from the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies at the University of Redlands with a degree in Art & Activism. My work is strongly influenced by women and their connection with nature. It gives me joy to bring attention to these strong, wild, nurturing, and beautiful subjects.
I see the world as a vibrant and mystical place and I try to communicate that through my paintings. I like to incorporate different mediums to add different dimensions and textures to my work. I play with painting on different materials to emphasize the lines between the real and the surreal. Paint always represents for me the realm most true.
